Cuba
Cuba by Bicycle, February 4 – 13, 2017
Well Gloria and Jerry Colley (BRAG’s Executive
Director for many years) had a great Cuba Bicycle Adventure. It was an
all-inclusive, 10-day tour conducted by EcoColors Tourism in Cancun, Mexico.
They
spent the 1st night in an ocean-front hotel in Cancun.
The tour included a
bilingual guide and is van supported. Most meals were included. The first few
days They rode through
the beautiful landscapes of Guaniguanico and El Rosario regions. Highlights were
a visit to the famous Pinar del Rio tobacco region in the Viñales Valley and a
guided tour of the tobacco farm and rum distillery. The last 2
days were spent in Havanna with a guided city bike tour included and to exploring
the sights with their guide. Finally, they flew back to Cancun on
Feb.
12 and stayed at the Marriott near the airport for early morning
flights back to the USA on
Feb.
